Got my iMac with 16GB RAM, 2TB SSD and 8GB Video for 2499$.
Since they are so overpriced, most "gamers" on Mac don't even have the hardware to play these games, the number of people who are going to have imacs with PC powerful enough to play this game and other future games are extremely small, mainly because of the price alone. If you want to be a PC gamer, then stop buying Mac's, they are nothing more than overpriced PCs with absolutely no real advantage for paying so much more for so much less. There is so much going against Apple's (examples: Outdated OpenGL support, no Vulan support, Metal only supported on Macs), the chances of seeing this game on Mac or most any other new games on Mac is extremely small.

They clearly had no need to spend additional money to port it to the last gen consoles or the Mac or Linux at that point since it outsold both previous titles thanks to marketing.
#Gwent online mac Ps4
TW3 alone has sold 12 million copies but was limited to just the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. By September 2014, both games had sold 8 million copies. TW2 saw a release on the PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3. This was right around the time they were near bankruptcy, but of course CDPR at the time stated it was due to their lack of faith that the French devs working on the title (The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf) could deliver the "planned quality" they wanted. There were plans to release a console version for the PS3 and Xbox 360 but delays in payments to the actual devs tasked with the job caused the project to get canceled. Putting TW1 out there on Windows and the Mac was the best they could do at the time. Then TW2 hit stores and they had major issues with it being pirated, instigating the whole threatened lawsuit and then backpedaling to do spin and damage control when fans turned on them. Part of the harsh reality is that they "needed" to do a Linux and Mac version, even the Enhanced Editions, for the previous games mostly because they needed to spread out their games to more people. Merchandising has been licensed out and will soon be available. They're not doing anything more on anything Witcher related beyond Gwent and the GotY edition. They're focus is on their new IP, continuing to plug away at reworking the game engine for CP 2077, the Gwent game coming out at some point with the Beta set for later this year. They're not actively working on the game at all now apart from that final patch. Nothing official has been stated either way.īut regarding the Mac version, they've never even hinted that there might be one coming.
#Gwent online mac Patch
The final patch may or may not be released some time soon or it just may be delayed and packaged with the GotY instead since owners of the base game and the expansion pass may get it as a free upgrade. Mainly because they're done with the game. It's just not going to happen anymore than a Linux version is.
